Privacy Policy
In one sentence: Keygel collects no personal data, uses no servers and shares nothing with anyone. Everything the app saves stays on your iPhone.
01What Keygel stores
Keygel saves only what it needs to work, locally on your iPhone:
- your sessions (date, program day, duration and, if you use “tap along”, a rhythm score);
- your onboarding answers (who the program is for, age range, goal, experience, preferred time and session length);
- the result of the optional hold test, which you report yourself;
- your settings (reminder time, haptics, tap along).
This data is stored with UserDefaults, iOS's local storage. It never travels over a network: Keygel has no server to receive it.
02What Keygel does not collect
No account is needed. Keygel does not ask for or collect:
- your name, email or any contact details;
- your location, contacts, photos or camera;
- Health app data (Keygel does not use HealthKit);
- advertising identifiers or browsing data.
03No third-party tools or tracking
Keygel includes no analytics kit, no advertising SDK and no tracking tool. No data is sold, rented or shared with anyone, for any purpose.
04Notifications
If you allow it, Keygel sends one discreet daily reminder, created directly on your iPhone. It never mentions what the app is for. You can turn it off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings → Notifications.
05In-app purchases
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Keygel never sees, receives or stores your payment information.
06Wellness, not medicine
Keygel is a wellness app, not a medical device. Your answers and your hold test are self-reported and stay on your iPhone. The iPhone does not measure your muscles, and Keygel does not diagnose or treat any condition.
07Deleting your data
Since nothing leaves your iPhone, there is no account or server to delete. You can erase your history in Keygel → Settings → Reset my progress. Uninstalling Keygel permanently deletes everything it stored.
08Age
Keygel is intended for adults.
